I would do best in a home where someone is home a lot to potty train and socialize me. Bambi is a 2 year old female, 17 lb, min pin mix. She was rescued from a hoarding house of 33 other dogs along with 3 puppies that may or may not have been hers. She’s very sweet but shy with new people, curious, playful, and friendly. Has one blue eye. Bambi came to us from a hoarding situation, extremely scared and unsocialized with people. Working with her, she has warmed up to her foster mom and dares to go out to the back yard with the other dogs. She does come for treats and food and allows her to pick her up and cuddle for a while. At this time, we feel that the ideal home for her is with someone who works from home or is retired AND has another playful dog. Bambi is young, active and very playful with other dogs. Even now, recovering from her spay surgery, she is very eager to play. The ideal home for Bambi would be with another playful dog in the household is because she needs a playful companion to feel secure.

Chico is a 10 year old 12 lb chihuahua mix. His owner died and he was left with nowhere to go. He’s good with other dogs, very affectionate, and loves to be by his persons side.. He’s a good, sweet boy. He does take heart medication and is on a special diet for prior bladder stones that shrunk.

Fudge is a male one years old cat.
A previous stray colony cat who always longed for life on the inside. He was fed as a colony cat for the last year every day until one day he stopped showing. A week later he returned with injuries from being hit by a car. He has recovered beautifully and shows how grateful he is each day. Every morning he greets us with his sweet meow and rubs on your legs purring. He is sugar syrup sweet! He loves other cats and is dog friendly also! He loves chin rubs and bird watching out the window. Fudge would do wonderful with a catio and another pet partner. Jax is a 10 year old Rat Terrier that weighs 20 lbs. His owners moved and left him alone in the apt with no AC. He’s extremely sweet, well behaved, calm, good with other dogs, and loves people. He needs a quiet home and good belly rubs! He enjoys walks on the leash. He does have dry eyes and needs daily drops.

Hanny is a Mountain Cur and Plott Hound mix mixed about 6 years old, she weighs about 45 pounds, very playful and calm girl that LOVES car rides. A home that will best suited Hanny would be an only dog home, although she is dog friendly with certain dogs, she can be territorial for her food and toys. She hasn’t been around children but she has never shown aggression towards any human. Hanny does great on a leash and loves walks! Nanny was abandoned by her family. She showed up on someone’s porch scared and hungry.
