Hi, I’m Jax! I’m around 10 years old and weigh about 20 pounds—just the right size for snuggles. Life hasn’t always been kind to me. I was left behind when my previous owner moved away, with no food, water, or electricity. But despite it all, I’ve held onto my quirky spirit and zest for life.
Some say I have a “big personality”—I can be a little moody at times, but that’s part of my charm! I’ve been through a lot, so I need someone patient and kind who understands that healing takes time and love.
I have a few special needs: I live with Cushing’s Disease and sometimes Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), which are managed with medication and care. I also get daily eye drops to keep my eyes comfortable. But don’t let that scare you—I’ve still got plenty of tail wags, some cuddles, and love to give.
I may be a senior, but my heart is full of hope. All I want is a safe, loving home where I can finally feel secure and cherished. Could you be the one to show me what forever really means?
